The Mid-Norfolk Railway is looking to recruit 2 new, permanent, salaried, part-time posts for immediate start.
- Post 1: Financial Controller
To work approximately 50 hours per month – timing to depend on month-end workload. The place of employment is Dereham station.
Major tasks include supervising staff, preparing monthly management accounts in a timely manner; preparing VAT returns; reconciliations; preparing year end accounts for submission to the auditors.
Desired qualifications are suitable academic qualification; good knowledge of Sage Accounts and spreadsheets; relevant experience; ability to work under pressure.
- Post 2: Telephone Receptionist and Accounts Clerk
The holder of this post will work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays, between 09.30 and 15.00.
Principal duties will be in dealing with telephone enquiries throughout the day, answering queries, taking bookings etc.
Additional duties are dealing with the post, message taking and finance duties relating to purchase and sales ledger, deputising for the Accounts Clerk in their absence.
